In my country, 70% of the population is either obese or over weight. This shows that, we follow an unhealthy life style. The government of my country has provided many different areas specifically made for people to participate in different sports, such as ‘Aspire Zone’. Additionally they have offered free participation in different sports for locals. Additionally health and sport education is provided in schools. My country Qatar hosted and will be hosting different international sports such as the Olympics and the FIFA world cup, which will take place in 2022. This motivates and encourages people living in the country to be part of these different sports and to represent their own country. On the other hand, my country also provides free surgeries for people who are obese, to help them loss weight faster, therefore to help decrease the rate of obesity in the country, and I believe this also encourages them to follow a healthier lifestyle.
